Vintage Anime Club Podcast

A group of friends, a disc of anime, a bottle of wine...better make it two. We're an anime podcast taking a look back at some older anime titles on physical media, and seeing if they still hold up or not. Sometimes time lets us appreciate overlooked titles, while other instances require us to remove those rose-tinted glasses. So grab a glass of wine and have a listen.

A group of friends, a disc of anime, a bottle of wine... Better make it two bottles.

Oct 31, 2018

On this episode, we have the OG trio of hosts Ed, Kate, and Dennis as we discuss the not so spooky but definitely full of monsters anime Night Warriors: Darkstalker's Revenge, which was known as Vampire Hunter: The Animated Series in Japan. Yup, it's another fighting game anime, this time based on the cult classic Capcom fighting game series Darkstalkers (Vampire in Japan). We discuss some fighting game moves and animation scenes, how bats is everything in this show, and Capcom's love for JJBA, some questionable fashion choices, and the return of bonus feature discussion. All aboard the Felicia hype train! No really, she has a train in this anime.
